Gears originally built the Power Mech to be used in the PIT and Flagg to help with moving and lifting ordinance crates and supplies. He also started to adapt it for possible combat uses. After the start of the Robot Rebellion Gears threw himself into the upgrading of the Power Mech and added the twin .50 caliber machine guns and Ground to Air heat seeking missile launcher. For the arms he added two H.E.A.T. grenade launchers.

I was not planning on doing a vehicle or mech suit. But I went to a garage sale and found this mech in box with a bunch of Power Rangers. I got it for a quarter and was quite happy! So I painted it up in camo and made Gears to drive it.
