One of Jean-Luc’s favorite hobbies is magic. When he was little he saved his money and bought a magic kit and taught himself. What he was really good at was disappearing. His friends would be talking to him and look away of a second and he would vanish, only to reappear 5 minutes later. One of his teachers noticed Jean-Luc’s unique talent and referred him to a ‘friend’ to show off his skill. The ‘friend’ slowly introduced Jean-Luc to a world of small time crime. On one particular night his luck ran out and the police caught him. While in handcuffs in the of the police car he made his escape, never to be seen again. Living through contacts in the underground criminal organization Jean-Luc made a name for himself as collector. Most of the bigger bosses in the underground used Jean-Luc because of his smooth style of operation. After he became a sought after commodity, Jean-Luc answered an add about joining a group of ‘like minded’ people called Flatline International. When he joined up he took the name Downpour, because when he is called to do a job he is like a storm…when it rains it pours.
