Growing up in Hell's Kitchen,NY, Brutus was no stranger to crime. When he was 16 his mother was murdered in a break in of their small flat. After the funeral, Brutus had no way of supporting himself, so he started stealing car radios. When he was finally caught he was put into juvenile hall until his 18th birthday. When released, he had various jobs in bars, driving cabs, and an occasional car man for a heist. while working as a bouncer, he was involved in a very nasty robbery turned bad. Brutus single handily disarmed all 4 robbers. It was then he knew his calling, a mob enforcer. Working with some of the biggest mob families in New York and New Jersey, Brutus took the name "Brutus the Butcher" because of his gruesome ways of persuasion. Noticing his 'special' talent, WarHorse decided to put him to work collecting debts owed to Flatline.
