Shotgun/Hat/Goggles: BBI

Buckshot and his colleague Pump-Gun made a brief appearance in the pages of British comic Battle Action Force, where they were Action Force's close-quarters specialists in the story 'Operation: Shield'. Although both died in that tale, I'm rather fond of both the story and the characters. Many years ago, one of my first customs as a child was a version of Buckshot comprising Grunt with a visor from Flash, the JUMP backpack and Gung-Ho's gun (actually, in retrospect I realise that I'd inadvertently created Starduster, but I wasn't to know that at the time). In honour of my childhood creation, I've transferred both characters to GI Joe, especially as a shotgunner is one of the few things the team doesn't have (yes, Flint carries a shotgun, but he's not a dedicated specialist). I made Buckshot, my preferred of the two (possibly because he has a less silly codename), British, as a nod to the character's origins.
