As an early volunteer for the Croc Master program, Gator showed too much potential and skill in the martial arts and use of edged weapons. So at the request of Storm Shadow he was pulled out of the program to become a Cobra Ninja.

Although Gator has accepted his new role in the ranks of Cobra he still spends any extra time with the only friends he has the Crocs and Gators on Cobra Island. Rumor has it that he sleeps in the swamps and although he is no longer in the Croc Master program he continues to wear the mantle.
