The current Hawkgirl is Kendra Saunders, a young woman who committed suicide. When Kendra's soul left her body, the soul of her grand aunt, Shiera Hall, the Golden Age Hawkgirl entered it. She currently has all of Kendra's memories, but almost none of Shiera's. She is currently a member of the superhero group the Justice Society of America and partner to Carter Hall, the reincarnated Hawkman.Together they are trying to unlock Shiera's memories.
