Heat Stroke is one of Cobra's newest threats. He was chosen to be tested in the early stages of Cobra's 'Venom program'. He was the first person who's body rejected the Venoms affects, unfortunately the process through which it was administered left his body horribly scarred. Not able to go back to the Sand Viper Corps, he went insane. He lashed out at the people who disfigured him, injuring both Dr. Mindbender and Scalpel. In a show of what could be called Honor Among Theives, Mindbender formed a unit especially for him to command(more of an experiment than a show of respect or sympathy). This unit known only as CAMEL(Cobra Arid Mission Elite Legionary) consisted of the three dozen men whose genetic make was similar to his and whose bodies rejected the venom with the same results. These outcasts proved themselves on there first few missions causing Cobra Commander to fully recognize the unit. He now commands the ruthless corps as they maraud through the dunes of Northern Africa and the Middle East.
