The Cobra Wolf is one of my all-time favorite Cobra vehicles. Incidentally, the Ice-Viper is one of my all-time favorite Cobra troops.
I changed two specific aspects on this kitbash. One was out of necessity, the other was more purposeful.
Firstly, I was unable to use the helmet and goggles that I wanted. One of the very best parts of the Ice Viper is the Star Wars AT-ST style helmet and goggles he wears. Unfortunately, because the custom cast bandolier and fur that I used for this figure sat so high off the Ice-Viper's shoulders, the "fritz" style helmet I wanted to use just would not sit on the head. Bummer. So, I settled on using the smaller Marauders "half-shell" helmet. The half-shell is too bulbous to allow even large goggle straps to fit, so I cut off the strap and glued the goggles directly onto the front of the helmet. Secondly, and more deliberately, I did not give the figure sai weapons. Don't get me wrong, I think sai are great, but I also think they are a silly standard weapon for an Arctic troop-builder and vehicle driver like the Ice-Viper. I just have him with a small pistol instead.
Lastly, I did something I almost never do. I dry-brushed this guy with some white to emulate snow on his outfit.
