Even though Major Bludd appears to be a very simple custom, he took the better part of a year to complete. That was all due to finding the best cast head and helmet and then waiting a very long time as the head constantly sold out before I could order it.
1983 is my absolute favorite year of G.I.Joe and Major Bludd is a wonderful figure. Oh sure, he's mostly brown and fairly boring, but back in '83, any new Cobra figure was special. I used him a lot during playtime. He had an eye patch, for goodness sake! And a robot/armored arm! Of course I was going to use him.
Of course, compared to later Cobras, Major Bludd is fairly tame, but he's also a great addition to the Hierarchy
