Cobra Desert Vipers are trained to endure the harsh climate of the desert; oppressive heat during the day and bone chilling cold at night. They also receive extensive training on water and food acquisition.

A subsection of the Cobra Range Vipers they are issued a single set of gear along with an AK47 variant of their choice, due to its reliability in the arid climate. When new gear is needed they have been known to raid military outposts, attack convoys, and even attack training military units.
