General Chaos was a childhood friend of Cobra Commander. After losing touch with one another, "the General" (as the troopers call him) joined Cobra and worked his way up their ranks. He had no idea that Cobra Commander and he shared a past. Years later at a formal celebration dinner for Cobra's finest, he and the Commander realized their past connection. Instantly he was promoted, and has turned the once mocked troops into something to be feared.
