A former captain in the British Army, Frost is the daughter of an English general and sister to two SAS members. Raised in a military household, her father was proud to see that she was just as strong as her brothers, and possessed a keen tactical mind. Her skill earned her a commission in the army, but much to her distatse, she discovered the army was still a "boy's club". She was forbidden from combat, due to not only her rank but her commanders were worried what her father would do if she was harmed.Her brother got her a spot in an SAS team, but she was rejected when it was discovered that "Mo" Donovan was a woman.

Tired of the elitest attitude of her commanders and their belittling her due to her sex, she resigned her commision and became a freelance mercenary. Gaining notoriety, she attracted the attention of Cobra, who was all to happy to have a strong, intelligent woman among their ranks. Accelling at every test given to her, she was selected for the Snow Serpents, Cobra's deadliest troops. After serving as commander of a Snow Serpent troop for two "tours", she was hand picked for the 181 Serpents, a team created by the Cobra Commander himself to operate without detection anywhere in the world. She was assigned to the team as Executive Officer.

While she is calm under fire and possesses a keen intellectual mind, she is prone to anger when her orders are question due to her sex. Several Cobra troops have ended up in the infirmary after making a remark about their female commander. Rumor has it several did not survive the encounter.
