Tabe is a champion sumo wrestler and member of the Karate Kommandos. He serves along side Chuck Norris and Kimo as they battle the evil forces of VULTURE. The Karate Kommandos are all that stand between VULTURE and total world domination.

In my Joeverse Karate Kommandos was a sub team of the GI Joe force. They were called in when things needed to be handled by an elite force led by Chuck Norris. VULTURE is an evil ally of Cobra.
