Jack McCoy always had a knack for skirting the edge of ethics to see justice done. When the Baroness was finally captured at the end of what is now known as the Cobra conflict, McCoy argued to have her tried in the New York courts, as a number of her most heinous crimes were committed within his jurisdiction. As a concession to the State of New York, the judge allowed McCoy to sit on the prosecution in the Baroness' federal trial, and as counsel in her war crimes trial.
